ORIJEN SENIOR Dog Food is formulated for the needs of older dogs
As dogs age, their bodies become less efficient at metabolizing the proteins that are vital to maintaining lean muscle mass and overall wellness. In additional to increased dietary protein, senior dogs typically require fewer calories than younger dogs, and fewer carbohydrates help improve insulin resistance.
ORIJEN SENIOR features the highest inclusions of fresh grain-fed chicken, wild-caught northern Whitefish and fresh whole eggs. Each ORIJEN kibble is literally bursting with the protein-packed human-grade meats (minimum 70%) your senior dog needs-and none of the grains or carbohydrates that are biologically inappropriate.
Orijen Senior Dog contains a full compliment of regional fruits and vegetables including both sweet and russet potatoes, black currants and sunflower from the prairie farms, apples and cranberries from the interior orchards, and sea vegetables hand-harvested from the pacific tidal range.
