This is a whole food product, there are no fillers in this product. Since it does not have the chemical and fillers (wheat, oats, barley, corn) your dog health will improve, you will be able to see this in his coat.

We own 2 golden retrievers and a german shepherd. We have tried numerous super premium foods without success as our German Shepherd has a severe immunodeficiency disorder with primary digestive issues along with allergies and more recently severe weight loss. Never has a day gone by that we haven't cleaned up accidents upon arriving home from work! We decided to try Orijen despite the increase in price difference and it is so true what they say..."You get what you pay for!" It has been 1 month and not one accident, our dogs coats are improving and our Shepherd is gaining his weight back and looking great. We are so thankful for Orijen and will never look back again!!!

My dog stopped eating his old dog food and I just wasn't happy with how he was doing on it, though it was another very high quality premium food. So I switched to Orijen 6fish. He was VERY excited when I brought the bag home and he's been gobbling it all down, though when we were switching he tended to leave some of his old food in the bowl. His coat is much nicer now and his itching has gone down even more. The food is expensive, but you feed less so it works out in the long run.

I was looking for a premium grain-free food for my Aussie who has an occasional seizure. I feed all my dogs fish based foods for skin and coat. When I received the first bag of Orijen 6 Fish, my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, who is very picky, was sniffing the bag trying to get it open. The first time I fed her Orijen, she was the first of my three dogs to finish. Usually, she is last and leaves food in her bowl. My other dog is a Cairn Terrier. All 3 dogs, 3 different breeds, love it and are doing well eating it. The Aussie and Wheaten both compete in agility and recently turned 7 years old. Finally, a food my Wheaten will eat and a good food for my Aussie and Cairn, too. It is worth the price.

It works very well for my chicken intolerant dog. Unlike someone else said, it is not irradiated, only food going to Australia was being irradiated before entering the country, as per Australian law, not the manufacturer's decision and not applicable to the USA.

Thank goodness for Orijen! I've tried a bunch of other brands with my seemingly grain allergic Australian Shepherd. I was a bit worried she'd be bouncing off the walls, but she is doing great on the food. It doesn't take much for her to pork up, but I just have to watch her meal size, and her metabolism can be that way since being spayed. Coat is great. No complaints whatsoever. Price here at Paws Choice is phenomenal, [...] I don't live anywhere near an Orijen dealer, so that is important to me. Thanks Paws Choice! :-)

I own 8 beautiful small breed dogs. One has severe food allergies and has not stopped scratching since the day I rescued her back in 2006. At first I thought she was allergic to the grass. She was chewing her back off! She had one allergy shot after another . One day I stopped at a pet store to buy food and the owner told me about a new food that people were trying and could not say enough good things about it, Fish Orijen. I didn't think the dog would eat it because I never fed her anything containing fish. She gobbled it up and loves it. Best of all for the first time since I have this poor animal she has stopped scratching. Its a miracle! Thank you so much. Its a fabulous product and definitely worth the extra money!

My pit bull is 7 months old and over the 7 months we have spent almost 2,000 dollers on vet bills trying to narrow down his food allergies by trial and error and determination on our part, and pain and misery on my puppy's part we have finally found a food that really and truely is grain free, chicken free, turkey free, beef free need I go on..... just fish veggys fruits and nutrients.. finally we are rash and steroid free and he is happy as can be.. The only draw back is the cost as he eats 2-3 bags a month... but he is my family and we love him and do whats needed to take care of him.. I reccomend this prodect to anybody who has a pet with food allergies..

Orijen fits the bill for my 6, as I scrutinize every ingredient in my pets food. I work as a pet sitter & see many people trying to be frugal about their pets food, as they love them, but don't believe in the nutritional value, those pets are always at the vet. It's worth the cost for my pets to be healthy. It all starts w/ good food. It even passed the sniff test for me. If it doesn't smell good it's probably not. This food is bursting with flavor. My dogs alternate between the fish & the senior bags. I hope Orijen keeps up the good work, I would hate to have to change. It's all about quality & health for me.

I make most of my dog's food, but I give her a scoop of kibble at night to sleep on. Orijen is her favorite kibble, no need to add cheese, etc. It smells very rich. I will switch to just Orijen kibble when I run out of other brands I have.
