I use this food because Lamb is the only meat my girl isn't allergic to and other allergy ingredients are in lower amounts than even prescription foods. I am not happy with the nutrition for such a high-end food, but the benefits of the non-allergen properties out-weigh this. I simply substitute with a treat that contains more nutrition for her to keep her skin and coat healthier.

First tried this food for my Wheaten terrier with allergies and sensitive stomach. She loves it and has no problems with it. Now also feeding it to active lab, who also loves it and is very healthy with a shiny coat. My daughter's rat terrier, a finicky eater, also loves it. She tried it once at my house, and now won't eat anything else. It sounds expensive, but can feed less because this food does not contain fillers.

This food when warm water is added makes the smell and taste great. My dogs love it mostly with water. It brings out an aroma that is hard to resist. Alot of other foods I have tried are a turnoff, cause it really doesn't smell good. If you want to feed your dog a healthy food, this is it. Although a bit pricy, it is nutritional.

I feed my dogs twice a day on this dog food simply because their bodies absorb it better. You can't give them that much because it is highly concentrated. If you have a dog that likes to eat alot, then you have to supplement something else with it. I give my dogs oatmeal and green beans mostly to fill them up. I put warm water in the Azmira's dry food and it swells up very quickly, so I can see why it is so concentrated. Sometimes I just give them the dry with Azmira's canned dog food which they simply love. This is a holistic food, so you can't go wrong. The ingredients are pure and human grade. When you open the bag, you can smell good food, not stinky food. The only thing that is not great about this product is, I have four dogs and I have to order one bag every two weeks, and it becomes quite an expense. Also it is selling so well, they are out of stock often. I just wish it was a bit cheaper. They get the lamb and lamb is highly priced.
