My Saint Bernard puppy loves this food! He likes the taste and it's nutritionally sound. This is the first large breed puppy food i came across that followed the rules for slow growth; less protein, less calcium and less phosphorus result in slower growth rates for large and giant breed puppies which can help reduce the rate of skeletal diseases later in life. My dog digests it well, his growth is controlled (though he's still huge at 5 months old), his coat is shiny and it doesn't appear to cause him any allergic reactions. The only down side to the food is the expense, which ranges from $52 to $65 dollars depending on where and when you buy it and you only get 33lbs of dog food in a bag, which, as most large dog owners know, doesn't go very far. If you don't mind paying a tad more for a slow growth, healthy food then i recommend this to anyone with a large or giant breed puppy.
