Since we switched our 12 year old husky mix to this about 3 years ago, he is lively and happy like a puppy! His coat is shiny, his digestion issues are resolved, and he wolfs it down every night!

This is a good highly nutritional product. I like the idea of no grains that get moldy. We rescued two German Shepherds that were on the verge of death. In the year I have been feeding this food their digestive system has improved, they have doubled their weight and their coats are as silky as a German Shepherd can get. Highly recommend to any one who wants to keep their dogs healthy. It has been excellent for my old dog also. The picky eater.

I have found this food to be excellent for my Curly Coated Retriever brood females. The nutritional density brings them through their gestation and lactation in good condition and body weight. I do mix it 50-50 with the Orijen 6-Fish variety as I like some fish protien when they are lactating. The girls love it and they willingly free-feed on the dry food without having to add enhancements. Wonderful food!

The idea that dogs should eat grains has never made any sense to me. Over the years and many wonderful dogs, I finally discovered Orijen. After changing my Lab and Afghan to Orijen, their body masses began to change. They have always been active with lots of room to run and play, but after six months on Orijen their muscle mass became really defined and their body fat disappeared. Their coats became really slick and skin condition has become perfect. No more flakey shin, no more scratching.

No, I am not employed by Orijen. It is simply a great product made by dedicated people. Go to their website and check them out.

we advocate the raw feed diet and have found this is the best addition to our raw feed diet. good for when your raw feeder goes to the kennel. healthy choice. our dog suffered from adverse effects of commercial dog food and since changing him to the raw feed/orijen diet he is healthy again.

This fall I switched my 85lb. St. Bernard mix to Orijens after reading great product reviews, but with some reluctance due to the price. After 3--30lb. bags, I calculated that Buttercup was eating for less than [$] a day! She instantly loved the taste. Her coat has stayed shiney with minimal shedding throughout the winter. I have less waste to clean up in the back yard! Best of all, I don't worry about feeding her substandard ingredients from other countries as all of the natural ingredients are regional to the producer. I highly recommend this product to folks looking to feed superior nutrition to their dogs at a reasonable price.

Orijen is simply one of the best foods made for dogs. The nutritionals are superb and I've yet to find a dog that doesn't love it.

Unless your dog is very active, I'd recommend the Senior because the adult is very high protein and calorie.

We feed our two year old Great Dane who spends two hours plus each day off leash running and playing the adult. Our nine year old Chinook and five year old Weimaraner, while both active dogs, do better on the Senior.

orijen offers nutrition for my dog. when the pet food scare happened we investigated dog food options, including raw diets. this dog food is nutritionally sound for your dog. we used organic for a short time but orijen beats all with the protein necessary. our dog suffered crystals from the pet food additives and orijen has kept him healthy for years.

This is a great food for older dogs, large dogs, and active dogs. They maintain weight well with very little food which helps to offset the cost. It really improves the coat and muscle tone. It gives them a wonderful vigor and they just seem happier. They enjoy the taste so much that it can be used as training treats. The yard clean up is much easier because the dogs have smaller, drier, less smelly feces. Because it's biologically appropriate, it is easy to digest which means less gas. Overall, this has to be the best kibble I've ever used. However, it does have a down side. The high protein content is not good for puppies, particularly large breed ones, and could lead to joint problems. I recommend using a lower protein content, natural, grain-free kibble until a year old and then switching to the Orijen formula that best suits your dog's activity level.

I researched this product and liked what I read about it. I was confused about grain free diets and older dogs but the company's white paper made a lot of sense. My dog's holistic vet also recommended this food supplemented by a home cooked diet. My older dog is thriving on the combination.
