I have an Old English Sheep dog (-think the Shaggy Dog movies) and I live in Oregon where it rains all the time. These combine to make one muddy footed pup, even when it's just a quick trip outside to potty.
I have been keeping the PawPlunger inside next to the back door for a quick rinse after each trip. The water is room temp and comfortable for him. It doesn't get everywhere- I choose how far the foot goes in, and the bristles really clean the mud from his fur and pads.
I love it!

While I bought this for our rescue setter, the first use ended up being my new Afghan hound puppy. She came in with muddy paws, I whipped out the paw plunger & she didn't even mind it at all! After a couple of plunges, she came out nice & clean (but wet- do have a towel handy). My husband was skeptical, but it's already proved itself worthy.
